Obituaries for Graduates Not in the Yearbook Index for

Bethlehem Central High School,

Delmar, New York

by Clifford Lamere, Science Teacher (Sep 1967 - June 1991)

Webpage January 15, 2018     Revised February 18, 2018

The graduates on this webpage had obituaries which mentioned that they had graduated from BCHS, but the Yearbook Index at the Bethlehem Public Library did not show their name.  I believe that most or all of them did graduate from this school, but they were not pictured in the yearbook.  Reasons: Students sometimes did not get their yearbook photo taken (I found four yearbooks which each named 20-32 graduates who had no photo in the yearbook).  Adults sometimes decide to use their middle name instead of the given name, so I was looking for the wrong name in the index.  The people making the index may have inadvertently omitted a person or spelled their name wrong.  When using the yearbook index, I suggest that you search only for the surname.

The names below are listed in order of the expected year of graduation and then alphabetically by graduation surname.  If you can confirm a graduation year, please email me at the address near the top of this webpage.

Obituaries said they graduated from BCHS, but they were not found in

the yearbook index.  Approximate graduation years are shown.       (51)
